Pokhara

Pokhara is a sub-metropolitan and the second largest city of Nepal as well as the headquarters of Kaski District, Gandaki Zone and the Western Development Region. It is located 200 kilometres (120 miles) west of the capital Kathmandu. Despite being a comparatively smaller valley than Kathmandu. Pokhara lies on an important old trading route between China and India. Chitwan

The Chitwan District is one of 75 districts of Nepal, and is located in the southwestern part with Bharatpur, the fifth largest city of Nepal, as its district headquarters. The district takes its name from the Chitwan Valley, one of Nepal’s Inner Terai valleys between the Mahabharat and Siwalik ranges, both considered foothills of the Himalayas. Narayangadh is located on the banks of the Narayani River, and is the main town with numerous shopping zones where people come from all over the district and neighbouring districts. 

Chitwan is very popular for tasty Taas a spicy fried goat-meat lunch dish served with Bhuja or Cheura available in many restaurants. Momo, Sukuti Khaja Set and other Newa Cuisine also available. Dal bhat is the staple food of the area, meat and dairy products are also widely consumed. For centuries, traditional fermented foods and beverages have constituted about 20 per cent of the local diet.   • At evening time guests will be taken for village walk depending on the time of arrival at the resort.

DAY 04- (CHITWAN) 

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Elephant Safari, Sunset from river bank, Canoe ride, Jungle safari, Elephant Breeding Center and Bird watching (Full day at Chitwan)
  • Lunch and Dinner at hotel.
  • Overnight at hotel

After breakfast, you are taken to our elephant stables where a senior naturalist briefs about the interesting and unbelievable habits of elephant. Here one may witness the rare scene of the elephants at bath. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon you may choose to relax around the resort or take a drive through the jungles in four wheel drive jeep followed by a canoe ride down the Rapti River. The river ride provides opportunity of viewing the gharial crocodiles as well as the mugger crocodiles, fresh water dolphins, otters and varieties of water birds.

You may also feel like going for a nature walk or birding with one of our naturalists to know more about the flora of the Chitwan National Park Those on canoe ride are taken back to the resort four wheel drive jeep from the endpoint.

DAY 05- (CHITWAN TO KATHMANDU)

  • Check out from Hotel
  • Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu International Airport
  • This day you will be transferred to your airport in time to board your flight for onward journey.

Route: Kathmandu/Pokhara/Chitwan by road (If you want then we can arrange flight also)

You have an option of both driving as well as flying back to Kathmandu from Bharatpur airport. It will be just a 25 minutes flight.
